When you work with me at AKOR Services, I want you to feel completely confident in your decision.  I am a business owner (since the early 1990’s).  I understand what you are going through.  We are NOT a large office with many bookkeepers on staff, where you are “just another company”.  I work with a select clientele, and I can assure you that I will be as invested in your company as I am in my own.  My goal is NOT to work with dozens of clients.  When you work with AKOR Services Bookkeeping, I will be doing your books, and either I or you will choose the Accountant or CPA that reviews the books and does your taxes.  It’s your choice.  It’s simple and efficient.

We offer something most bookkeeping services don’t: live online demonstrations using the actual software your business will use (or we will utilize for you).  You will always have full access to your books, and I will coach you how to access whatever numbers are important to you.

Whether you’re curious about QuickBooks Online or want to explore Xero Accounting, I can walk you through both platforms using real demo companies. You’ll see exactly how your invoices will be created, how your expenses will be tracked, and how your financial reports will look: all before making any commitment.  There are differences between each accounting solution.  We will help you choose what is right for you and your business situation.

During these demonstrations, we can:

We will:

  • Set up your QuickBooks Online or Xero account from scratch
  • Import your existing data (if applicable)
  • Create your chart of accounts tailored to your industry
  • Set up your customer and vendor lists
  • Configure your invoicing templates
  • Train you on the basics of using the system

After installation, you take over completely. We’re always available if you need help later, but there’s no ongoing obligation.

Coaching and Training

Sometimes you just need someone to teach you the right way to do things.

Here’s an important fact.  We do ongoing training with both Intuit/QuickBooks and Xero to stay on top of changes in their products and services.  We also have a support network of accountants and CPA’s if we ever need guidance, or you need specific help.  We are bookkeepers.  We handle the day-to-day aspects of your finances.  Accountants and/or CPA’s charge higher rates, so we help them make the most efficient use of their time, keeping your accounting charges down.  Again, let me reiterate that either you or I will integrate with a choice of Accountant or CPA’s to get your books reviewed and your taxes filed.  We can arrange this for you so you don’t have to worry about it.  Our goal is to give you the time to run your business without worrying about your finances or books.  We will give you timely and up to date numbers so you can make good decisions about your business.
