QuickBooks Newest Version: Ledger

For those of you (businesses) that need simple bookkeeping, without all the bells and whistles, there is a new simple version of QuickBooks called Ledger that might be just right for you. It’s less than half the price of the next level up version (Simple Start). From now through September 30, 2025, I can even offer you a better price as an introductory offer.

What will it do?

It will connect to your bank feeds and download all your transactions for your banks and credit cards. We can then categorize all of those transactions, and report on them as often as you like. It has all the typical reports like Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reports. It will also upgrade to do Payroll. This is a great (and affordable) option for businesses that just want to keep track of expenses and income (lets say for tax purposes). It WILL also do 1099’s (extra charge however).

What won’t it do?

No accounts receivable (e.g. invoices, credit memos, receipts)
No estimates (or resulting invoices)
No tracking customer information
No accounts payable functions (e.g. bills)
