I recently did this “paint-enhanced” slate coaster. Plain engraved coasters look good, but by adding layers of paint on the coaster….lets just say that the images “pop”. In this particular coaster, I started with background layers of white primer, gray primer and followed by a top coat of black. The cool thing is that any combination of colors could be utilized.
Imaging your business logo, team logo or school logo on here. Would that do a lot for your branding?
Adding paint colors and top protective coatings and do add to the manufacturing time and price, but the outcome is definitely worth it.
