Rail + Travel Packages

You fill in the blank!  I am pretty fond of taking the train and going on short overnight trips.  I just recently did one between Vancouver, WA and Seattle, WA.  See my review.  I will say that 2-4 hour trips on Amtrak can be quite pleasant, as long as you are willing to catch an Uber when you get to your destination.  I live in the Pacific Northwest where traffic is not so pleasant a lot of the time in the major cities.  I find riding the train much more enjoyable than the stress of driving or flying. So have[...]

As a travel agent in the Portland and Vancouver Metropolitan areas, I spend a lot of my time helping people go on vacations FROM this area.  When you already live in an area that has a great year-round temperature range and climate, it's hard to imaging leaving from here.  But many of us love to travel. Grand Cayman Islands, Cozumel and Progresso/Yucatan, Oct 26, 2024 - Nov 2, 2024 My wife and I began our cruise out of the Port of New Orleans, Louisiana Julia Street Terminal for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. It is a really nice area, about 2 blocks from several major hotels, many famous restaurants and Caesar's casino. I can highly recommend Drago’s restaurant, inside the Hilton Riverside. Great seafood, steaks, boudain and gumbo (lookup Cajun food). It was approaching high pricing, but was a good value considering the area and what you got.[...]

By |October 22nd, 2024|Categories: Travel Advisor|Tags: , |

When Should You Use A Travel Agent? The short answer is that you can use a Travel Agent (we're sometimes called Travel Advisors) any time you travel.  Why?  Because we are experienced and have access to discounts, packaged deals and professional resources that individual travelers likely do not have access to.  One example would be TA connections directly with cruise lines. The longer answer is that whether you are a single traveler, or you have a group of 10 or more (up to hundreds of travelers), we can put together discounted all-inclusive packages that will likely save you at least[...]
