Monthly Bookkeeping Service Pricing Packages

The very first decision we need to help you make is the specific software that fits your business.  Not all businesses need the same set of features in your software.  Why pay for it if you don’t intend to use it?  Our primary accounting software solutions we support are Intuit QuickBooks Online and Xero Accounting Online.  There are many others available, but we have selected these based on their security, ease of use, price points, features they offer, and their scalability.  Both have different products in their offering with varying pricing and features, including initial special offers.  We should discuss what features you need and want, and then we can focus in on your pricing and the correct product for your situation.

Standard Package Offerings through AKOR Services Bookkeeping

#1 Super Simple Monthly Bookkeeping Package

$99/month (including Ledger – QBO)

This is for the business with simple bookkeeping needs.  They don’t need customer tracking, invoicing or bill payment services.  They pay their bills manually through check writing, through their banking bill payment services or by credit card.  They just want simple monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and work annually with a tax preparer.  Payroll can be added as an optional service.  If this sounds like your business, this may be an option for you.

What’s Included (beginning on the current agreed-upon upcoming date)

  • 1 user + 2 accountants or bookkeepers
  • Chart of Accounts
  • Downloaded Bank and Credit card transactions (for up to 1 bank account, 1 savings account and 1 credit card account)
  • Up to 125 total transactions per month
  • Categorizing those transactions
  • Reconciling the statements
  • Reporting including Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet

What’s NOT Included

  • Inventory (upgrade)
  • Accounts Payable (Bills/Who You Owe) (upgrade)
  • Accounts Receivable (Invoicing/Who Owes You)(upgrade)
  • Multi-currency(upgrade)
  • Project profitability(upgrade)
  • Any higher level features of “Simple Start”, “Plus” or “Advanced”(upgrade)
  • Advanced numbers analysis (available at an extra charge)
  • Payroll (available at an extra charge)
  • Timekeeping (available at an extra charge)
  • Books cleanup (available at an extra charge)

#2 Moderate Monthly Bookkeeping Package

$349/month (including QBO Simple Start Package)

This is for the growing business with enhanced bookkeeping needs.  This package is good for businesses that need to create estimates, invoices and track customers.  You can track 1099 contractors.  This will handle 1 e-commerce sales channel.  This includes accounts receivable reporting.  You can pay bills either through writing checks manually, by credit card or through through your banking bill payment services.  If you need multi-currencies, more sales channels, pay bills, manage project profitability or track inventory, you will want to upgrade to an enhanced software version.  This includes better reporting options for monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.  You may include optional payroll services.  If this “Simple Start” version is lacking in features that you desire, there are upgrades available to other software packages.  If this sounds like your business, this may be an option for you.

  • Up to 300 total transactions per month
  • Categorizing those transactions
  • Reconciling the statements
  • Enhanced general reporting including Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet and more
  • Includes Accounts Receivable (invoices and estimates, and accept payments)
  • Track sales and sales tax
  • E-commerce (1 sales channel)
  • Manage 1099 contractors

Note:  Pricing and software features and names are subject to change at any time, and without notice.  Special limited-time pricing may also be available that could alter the pricing listed on this sheet.  Other pricing options are available including whether we pay for the software monthly, or you do.  If you have specific questions, please ask.

All of these options require an initial setup fee that will be based on your company’s specific needs.  Payroll services or integration of automations will also require an initial setup fee, based on your needs.  If books cleanup or catch-up services are required, that is an additional fee that will be quoted based on your situation.
